Whilst the car was there they advised me that the brake pads needed replacing. This was a surprise as I had only done 2000 miles. They contacted Slough only to be told that the car was delivered in accordance with company policy for approved minis.

The sales executive, Blossom Penfold, was very helpful. I went out for a test drive with her and as I had never driven an automatic before, she took the time to explain things clearly. She also went out with me in the car when I collected it.

Very satisfied with the service but feel the price of £279 for changing rear disc pads while they had it in the for the service was excessive. Which is why we declined to have it done.

2 days after its last service the oil light came on and I had to take it straight into the nearest garage. This time a noise coming from the back speaker. I was charged for this but it was the stereo unit. Noone has contacted me re a replacement.

Again score reflects the fact my mini left the factory with an unnoticed fault which then delayed my delivery. Hard to imagine the level of disappointment felt when instead of leaving in your new car you leave in the salesman's mini!
